Annual National Meeting
The AACO meets annually in conjunction with the American Academy of Ophthalmology to offer a scientific program for orthoptists, orthoptic students and ophthalmologists, to provide continuing education for orthoptists, and to conduct the business of the association.
Within our organization
We are very proud to be run by orthoptists for orthoptists. Dedicated volunteers ensure the forward progression of our profession by serving on our board and various committees. We are professionals that value clinical excellence based on scientific principles.
ACCO Leadership
Its mission: to provide continuing education to its members, to assist members in their professional practice, to improve the care of children and adults with disorders of binocular vision and ocular motility, and to promote orthoptics as a profession.
