The 2021 AACO National Meeting will be virtual this year due to public health concerns regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and the effects of Hurricane Ida in New Orleans.  Registration is now available!

Meeting Format

We are excited to be offering a new website dedicated to this year's meeting.  It takes advantage of some recently developed features which we hope to be utilizing for other educational projects in the future.  The National Meeting presentations will be offered via Zoom, but you'll have a different log-in this year.  Please view the FAQ PAGE that explains many of the features and steps to log-in for the conference.

Here is the tentative schedule for the ONLINE conference.  (All times listed below are in the EASTERN time zone)

  • Saturday, November 13 -- Instructional Courses (11:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.)
  • Sunday, November 14
    • AACO Business Meeting (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
    • Scientific Sessions (1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
    • Lancaster Award (4:30 p.m.)
    • Regional Business Meetings (4:50 p.m to 6:00 p.m.)
  • Monday, November 15
    • Scientific Sessions (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
    • Scobee Memorial Lecture (12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.)

Registration Information 

Online registration is now open!  Since this conference will be conducted online, we are not accepting paper registrations.  When you complete the registration form, you will be given an option of paying immediately by credit card, or to "pay later."  If you are sending a check, please mail along with a copy of your registration "invoice" or confirmation email so we know how to apply the payment.  We strongly recommend putting your name on the check itself if your employer is mailing it.

In order to access the registration form, you will need to log-in to the AACO website with your usual credentials.  If you do not know your user name or password, you can retrieve that information by clicking on the "forgot" links you'll see on the log-in screen.  If you do not have an AACO log-in (i.e., if you are an TCOS/IOA member, if you are a non-member orthoptist, student, or physician), you'll have an opportunity to create a profile in our system before proceeding.

Registration Fees 

  • AACO/TCOS/IOA members -- $250
  • Newly certified orthoptists (certified in 2021) -- No charge
  • Orthoptist non-member -- $400
  • Students, Fellows, Residents -- No charge
  • Physicians -- No charge
