Important COVID-19 Information

Proof of COVID-19 vaccine is required for both AACO and AAO meetings/events.

The AACO Board of Directors has determined that proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all those attending the National meeting in Chicago. Additional requirements may evolve as meeting industry standards, regulations and guidelines change and may include proof of COVID-19 vaccine boosters, proof of negative COVID-19 test results, the use of face masks or other personal protective equipment regardless of local ordinances. Updates will be made on the Meetings page of the AACO website. Attendees must follow all posted instructions and signage while attending AACO meetings and events. (updated 6/21/22)

Due to the American Academy of Ophthalmology's (AAO) Health and Safety Policy, proof of COVID-19 Vaccine is required to attend the AACO Sunday Symposium at the McCormick Convention Center. Please note, this means you will need to bring proof of vaccine with you to the convention center when you attend the Sunday Symposium.
