Important COVID-19 Information
Proof of COVID-19 vaccine is required for both AACO and AAO meetings/events.
The AACO Board of Directors has determined that proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all those attending the National meeting in Chicago. Additional requirements may evolve as meeting industry standards, regulations and guidelines change and may include proof of COVID-19 vaccine boosters, proof of negative COVID-19 test results, the use of face masks or other personal protective equipment regardless of local ordinances. Updates will be made on the Meetings page of the AACO website. Attendees must follow all posted instructions and signage while attending AACO meetings and events. (updated 6/21/22)
Due to the American Academy of Ophthalmology's (AAO) Health and Safety Policy, proof of COVID-19 Vaccine is required to attend the AACO Sunday Symposium at the McCormick Convention Center. Please note, this means you will need to bring proof of vaccine with you to the convention center when you attend the Sunday Symposium. AOC CE: will be offered for both the in person sessions and any recorded on-demand sessions Note from the AOC: "In-Person" AOC CE will be offered for the recordings. In order for your CE to be considered "in-person" credit you will need to note three things you learned for every hour attended. These learning points will be submitted to the AOC when you apply for re-certification.
JCAHPO CE: will be available for in person sessions only
Registration
Registration is open now for the in-person event. The sessions will be recorded and available for purchase following the meeting. All recordings are included with the in-person registration. For those not attending the in-person event, registration for the recordings will open in October.

All AACO events take place at the Embassy Suites with the exception of the Sunday Symposium. The symposium will be held at the McCormick Place.
