Certified Orthoptist

Children’s Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time certified orthoptist to join five pediatric ophthalmologists and seven pediatric optometrists in our new state of the art pediatric hospital-based clinics. Primary duties will be the orthoptic support of the clinical MD strabismus practice, maximizing your training and licensure. In addition, you would develop an orthoptic clinic and have the opportunity to evaluate and provide non-surgical treatment of children and adults with ocular motility disorders. To further develop your career, the ability to present at national meetings and the opportunity to participate in a robust education curriculum for pediatric ophthalmology fellows and residents affiliated with University of Missouri Kansas City.
