South Central Texas Multi Subspecialty Ophthalmology Practice


We are seeking a full-time Certified or Certification eligible Orthoptist to join our team of providers.  The area is a great community to raise a family with lots of activities and entertainment for anyone’s taste. The orthoptist will work closely with and under the general supervision of the pediatric ophthalmologist in evaluating vision and ocular alignment using specialized examination techniques and assisting in diagnosis and recommending treatment for children and adult patients with amblyopia and ocular motility disorders.  The candidate must be a team player and possess the necessary interpersonal skills and knowledge necessary to interact with and provide appropriate clinical care to pediatric and adult patients.


Bachelor’s degree and completion of two (2) years post-graduate training from an accredited orthoptic training program.  
The candidate should have current certification by the American Orthoptic Council (AOC).
