VCU Health System's Ophthalmology Clinic

VCU Health System's Ophthalmology Clinic is seeking an Orthoptist that works adjunctively and exclusively with ophthalmologists who specialize in strabismus. He/she assesses visual function and neuromuscular eye anomalies allowing physician to expand services and maintain quality. 



  • Eligibility for Certified Orthoptist (CO) Certification test required and certification obtained
  • Orthoptist Certification (CO) after six (6) months of hire 
  • Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an ophthalmology office


  • Minimum of four (4) years' of work experience in an ophthalmology office
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current Certified Orthoptist (CO) Certification
