Westwood Ophthalmology in suburban northern New Jersey, just 20 minutes from New York City, is seeking a full-time certified or certification-eligible orthoptist to work side by side with our pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Glen Bianchi, in our private practice setting. Dr. Bianchi has a mature specialty practice within our medium-sized general ophthalmology group. Independent clinic time is possible depending on scheduling/experience of the candidate.

Job duties include patient intake with history, workup, and testing as needed. Visual and sensorimotor evaluations of pediatric and adult strabismus patients and amblyopia management comprise the bulk of the practice. Strong manifest and cycloplegic refraction skills desired. Phone triage of patient concerns expected. Our practice uses the Nextech IntellechartPro EMR system. We support continuing education, including AAPOS /AACO conferences.
